    1. Day 1

      Arrival in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.

       

    2. Day 2

       

      After arriving in Zvartnots we go to Sissian. The first part of this journey leads us to the west from Sissian above gentle hills to the valley of the river Vorotan. Then we reach the Shaki Waterfall, the highest waterfall in Armenia. The way back leads us through the lovely valley back to our hotel in Sissian.

    3. Day 3

      Today our route begins in Ltsen. From there we walk through woods and meadows to the Tatev Monastery. We go back by the longest cable car in the world, which overcomes a distance of 5.7 km in 11 minutes with only three supports. It goes up to 320 m high above the Vorotan canyon..

    4. Day 4

      The starting point of today’s stage is Ishkhanasar. From there we walk to Ughtasar lake. On the way back we make a short stop in the Armenian Stonehenge, Zorat Karer.

    5. Day 5

      On the way to Lermontov we visit Noravank and take part in a wine tasting in Areni. After checking in at the hotel we explore the wonderful landscapes around our typical Armenian Hotel.

    6. Day 6

      Today we have a short transfer to Dilijan, a small, idyllic town, which is very attractive in the so-called Armenian Switzerland. Today’s route takes us to the monastery Goshavank and Lake Parz. At this romantic little lake we have a deserved snack in a typical Armenian forestry.

    7. Day 8

      After breakfast we will visit Tsaghkadzor. In addition to a city tour we have a chance to see the first altitude training center. Then we go to Yerevan.

      In the early morning you set out for the journey home.

    I did not expect that it would be possible to combine sports and tourism so interesting. I have been involved in athletics for more than 5 years, have never been so pleased with running.
