  1. Day 1 December 23

Welcome to Hungary – a truly unique country in the centre of Europe. Today, Hungary is one of the most attractive destinations in Central Europe. Cultural, wine and culinary tours, spa, wellness and beach rest, medicine trip or riding a horse – everything is possible here. Surprisingly, how resettled people managed to keep their traditions in changing borders over a millennial history? Several centuries of the Ottomans’ supremacy and later the Danube monarchy did not weaken the proud Magyar spirit at all. In winter, Budapest gets special fairy tale charm, so congratulations! You happened to be at the perfect place in the perfect time. You are warmly welcomed by our English-speaking guide. After your check-in formalities and, in case you still have some time, after short refreshment break will explore evening Budapest on your own.

  2. Day 2 December 24

Many beautiful cities lie on the shores of the scenic blue Danube, but only Budapest is called it’s pearl. It is a city with an ancient history, culture and traditions which vitality pulsates in every corner. From the bird’s eye view, Budapest seems like a giant amphitheater. On both banks of the river, the treasures of the World Heritage List are scattered – the Royal Buda Palace and the medieval quarter, famous Matthias Church, the scene of many coronation ceremonies and weddings, the Fisherman’s Bastion with its magnificent view of the Danube, the parliament building, the Freedom Square. During the city tour, we also go to the spiritual center of Budapest – the St. Stephen’s Basilica, the Heroes’ Square and the charming Chain Bridge, which is protected by huge stone lions. Of course, since it’s Christmas and New Year’s period we can not miss the main highlight of the city – Christmas market. We walk through holiday stalls, where you can try local specialties, warm yourself with mulled wine and get to know Hungarian Christmas. At the evening we offer you unique programme – Christmas Eve on Danube river cruise. You will be delighted by the twinkling night Budapest enjoying dinner and folk show on cruise.

  3. Day 3 December 25

On this Christmas day, symbolizing new and blank page of our lives, we offer you to clean yourself – both literally and metaphorically. Budapest, being world-famous with its mineral pools with healing water, offers you to swim at one of many Baths. We will indulge in taking a relaxing bath surrounded by masterpiece of architecture. Afterwards we have a tasty lunch together. In the afternoon you will have free time to explore this city in no hurry. We advise you to skate at the ice rink with scenic Danube views. Or you can attend one of the most famous leisure during Christmas and winter holidays – ’Nutcracker’ at the Budapest Opera. If you’re music lover, you should definitely visit spiritual and atmospheric organ concert at the St. Anna Church.

  4. Day 4 December 26 - Departure

Today our program ends. You go home with unforgettable impressions and the great feeling of having experienced something special. You have spent your time eventfully and this Budapest winter holiday will always stay in your memory. We hope that we have managed to persuade you to come here once more in the future and of course plan your next trips with us!
